Who it’s for
You don’t need experience. You need to want this.
- You are 16 to 24 (older applicants welcome — the funding differs)
- You love making or watching content and want to do it properly
- You can commit to 15 months
- You are employed by, or will be hired by, a partner business

Plans, films and posts content for a business or brand.
Social Media Executive
Runs a company’s channels day to day, from posting to community management.
Content Producer
Leads shoots and edits for campaigns, often inside an agency.
Digital Marketing Assistant
Content plus email, website and paid social, with a view to a marketing career.
Freelance creator
Works for several clients — the portfolio from the apprenticeship is the starting point.

A week in the life
Four days making content at work. One day learning — on the platform, in workshops or with your tutor.

The qualification
Nationally recognised Level 3 qualification, equivalent to A-Level.

No exam at the end: you are assessed as you go, and finish with Gateway to Completion.
It costs you nothing
- No tuition fees, and no student loan.
- You are employed and paid a wage from day one — at least the apprentice rate of the National Minimum Wage.
- Your employer and the government pay for the training.
- You get paid time to learn: about a day a week.
